Dude, FANTASTIC review. It's not pretentious at all (but still fun!), and is amazingly well-crafted, and all-round solid. The first paragraph alone carries so much win. It's funny that you just remarked on how my last review shows personality - so does yours here, and I agree that it does make for smoother and more enjoyable reading. I think it's about striking that fine balance between professionalism, and bringing the review down to a level that the layman (or lay reader) can enjoy.

Congrats on your 50th Xeno. Am glad to hear that it's been a blast thus far =)

Good review. My only problem is this:

Oceano are content on riffing, and imagine riffing spelled out in mammoth letters, because Contagion features a disgusting amount of them.

i kind of agree with the review. This band seem content chopping out the sludgiest palm mutes going and watching the brutal loving morons eat it up.
