I'm pretty bummed with this. They showed that they had good potential to be great, but this is no improvement.
The best things to come from Sumerian were Fellsilent and Stray From the Path, Veil of Maya is ok too. The rest suck

Another band from their area told me Sumerian is actually the one who wanted the change for the band to be more breakdown-driven. If that's true, that's ridiculous. The label has enough bands like that as it is, there's no reason for CFTG to downplay their strengths - stupidly melodic/technical guitar work.
