Album is far from average. It has it's flaws, though.

Thanks, fellas. I don't think the record can be summed up with any single word, Soapy - it's so wildly uneven. I went for the number because the flaws are so insistent, and for me they really damage the good parts.

Uneven in quality. The lyrics are retarded at points, and some of the music is recycled from fourth rate pub rock bands.

I suspected you'd disagree, Illuvatar.

Well written review, but I disagree with pretty much every single word you wrote. I don't know how you can possibly call this "derivative" and say that there's a "glaring lack of originality."

Cheers, man. I like the bluesy thing they do but some of the melodies and riffs etc are just basic jam material - the type of stuff found in a million filler tracks. The opening riff to Nausea is exactly the same as one in a Status Quo track.

I get why people don't care much for this, I just hope those same people felt the same/similar towards Bad Luck

I've never really liked these guys before. I hope they stick with this new sound and just develop it, because when it's on top it rules.

It's pretty developed... like, this EP is near fully realized.

I agree with Kitsch the vocals are incredibly hard to listen to.

They're a lot easier to listen to then the vocals on Asleep Next to Science.

I find his growly vocals quite powerful, it's just his singing voice that's so limp-wristed

You might be the only person who likes the gruff-vocals and dislikes the clean vocals (not an insult by any means, just an observation). Personally, I appreciate the contrast between his vocal styles and I really enjoy the sweet, vulnerable, almost-conversational singing-style that Jerry employs. But what can I say, I love this band haha.
