Their whole discography is worth checking out i reckon. Personally i'd look at getting One For All Time and We Were Exploding Anyway. But it's all good stuff.

Pretty much what I expected it to be from the start and what you reviewed it as. Still a nice release to have imo. I think I'll need to go through their entire discog again.

Great review and a great mini-album. These guys are awesome live, the stuff from WWEA sounds so much better live.

Post rock... mass appeal?
You realize most people think post rock is boring or depressing?

Nice Review
"Heavy Sky is the sound of an inspired band loving what they do, and it is all the better because of
it."
but this rating has been my regular for their previous albums. Such as:
The Destruction of Small Ideas
We Were Exploding Anyway

Good review Xeno! I've only heard One Time For All Time, will have to check this out.

I like the new 65dos much more than their older sound. It's the perfect marriage of electronica and post-rock, this is some great, great stuff. Perfect companion to We Were Exploding Anyway.

and with their latest EP Heavy Sky, that sound is clearly here to stay.
Actually, if you read their blog post,
[http://www.65daysofstatic.com/blog/2010/10/11/65propaganda111010-heavy-sky pre-order-details-and-
offers/], the sound from We Were Exploding Away was only to be continued on Heavy Sky, in which
65DOS is apparently going to digress towards a new sound for their next
project. Nice review though, and imo, this ep is way better than the actual album.
Edit: Why does Sputnik keep fucking with my comment layout?
