very well-written review, but so i dislike this for a lot of the reasons you do like it, apparently. mine should be up soon.

actually chambered i completely hate him, i was just into him the year i made this account and decided to pull a minustheflair type of "Aha" moment in the review.

Good review, but I feel like there should be more to explain why you feel like the album is a 5. Also:
"Eno's newest record is one that only reveals its brilliant nature for people with an abstract perspective. This is art music for art fans and it's gorgeous."
arf, not that this is necessarily a wrong statement, but it is... well, somewhat unattractive. But a good read, as per usual : )

and don't get angry about someone reviewing the same album..dibs really means nothing and Brian Eno is pretty well known to say the least. Just sayin' =)

So I listened to this entire album while trying to fall asleep a few days ago, it was amazing. I can't remember at what point I fell asleep though, so I'm giving it another listen now to ensure it's awesomeness, but from what I remember this is incredibly peaceful, beautiful music.
EDIT: So apparently I must have fallen asleep very early because after the first few very peaceful, beautiful songs we've got noise rock and techno abound. And it's fucking awesome. This reminds me of Age of Adz, except not as boring.

I like my Eno with a healthy dose of Budd or Byrne. Would I like this given that fact?
