Well my definition of Cascadian black metal is USBM bands who opt for the more atmospheric sound with folk or post-rock elements. Stuff like that.

Listened few songs and it seemed to be pretty good. My only real problem is with that horrendous bm singing lol. Well im not really a black metal fan so I shouldnt complain about that I guess.

Yeah if you're not a black metal fan this probably isn't the album to listen to first. Try out some Agalloh or Enslaved.
