Anyway, this is one of the best CD's I've ever heard and I liked most of the songs the first time I heard them (which is a really good thing) but personally, I think Californication is the best Album by them.

***Oh, one more thing, "Power of Equality" was stuck in my head all day so it kept me going, otherwise I'd probably fall asleep behind the wheel or something, lol.

They leave it out mainly because they're promoting all their new stuff. It'll get worse when their new albums come out, they might stop playing Give IT Away!

Hmm...this is the album that brought them to the mainstream, but manages to stay punky/rocky/chili-esque.

Mother's Milk is too punky for me, some bitchin' songs on it tho

I agree. Apache Rose peacock is an AWESOME song. It is one of my favorite songs on the album.Ur right that it isn't REALLY funky but I think it has a perfect blend of funk/rock and punk. The CD is one of my favorite cd's of all-time. You can listen to the whole cd and enjoy EVERY song. That is rare for most bands, but I can listen to every album all the way thru on any of the chilis album and like every song.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I can see Under The Bridge becoming the only song they consistently play off it. Just as well I've seen them three times now. :cool:. Also, there's the fact that I think some of them, Anthony in particular might just be getting too old to put in the really high energy stuff on Suck My Kiss and other songs like that. They still absolutely rock live though.

I don't think it's an issue with how fit they are, cuz they really do work hard to stay in shape and to be fair they pull it off. They look good for what are they know 40+ (minus John who is what 34-35) and I reckon they still be jumping around to old or new rockers for another ten years.

When do you guys think they'll stop making music and playing concerts.

I think they'll go on for a while yet, but if anyone leaves the band, it'll be anthony. I dont know why, but whenever I see them together, he seems to be the one enjoying it least. John and Flea will be in music till they die I reckon, as they are just so much into their stuff, and Chad'll keep going for a long time, but I'm not so sure about Anthony. Hopefully they'll keep on going for a long time though, and personally I can see them going on until they reach Rolling Stones status.

Yeh, I hated them at first, cuz It meant I couldn't play in the car wit me ma und pa present, but Kiedis is a genius on that song.
