Yeah it's definitely much better than Omnicide

Sounds like Aeons new record, in the sense of not necessarily being bad but fairly blah.

'Synergy' from Armamentarium album is their best track. This album's just ok...

This sounds like melodic death metal to me, idk.

Their vocals are a lot better than on whatever old album of theirs I checked out, the riffs too.

Like, it's basically Amon Amarth and ATG riffs, + some thrash parts... that just doesn't constitute metalcore to me idk.

That being said, I really like the abundance of Amon Amarth worship riffs, even if the groove parts are kinda meh.

I USED to like neaera (armamentarium, let the tempest come, and the first one) but seriously, it's getting ridiculus. They're realeasing an album every years and it's getting worse and worse. Re view is great but i noticed you did't mentioned the new vocal style (metalcor-esque). Maybe I just did'nt notice it on Omnicide

You should listen to some metalcore if you think those shrieks and growls are "metalcore-esque".

Metalcore vocals are usually like, mid-range shouts js.

I don't speak english as a native language( and my grammar on internet really isn't the first thing I care about)....And yes he does have the mid-ranged in Forging the eclipse.

Yeah but it sounds like something you'd hear on a death metal record, not something you'd hear on a hardcore record.

Specifically it sounds like he's imitating Eddie Hermida from All Shall Perish.

Not being a dick, but you mean you were trying to figure out who he *sounds* like. =)

What's your native language btw?

Good review. Think this album is a bit better though and to me this is no metalcore at all.
