Heads up all, this is my first comment. I've given this only a partial ride, so my rating reflects what i've heard. I need to just sprawl out on one of these nights when I have time, and from there I'll change the rating. An ambient album like this is probably a grower, so I'll grant it the space.

Am I allowed to prefer The White Room over this?
|
| |
I prefer it

Seems like adash holds this in huge regard though. I can dig it, as dated as it feels to me, but isn't the be all end all.

Thats the opinion I hold about White Room :p
There's just something about Chill Out that opens the tunnel to my soul. But of course each to his own, i'm just pleased to see KLF get some recognition

No doubt, White Room is dated now too.

Heh so 90s, but so cool. Takes me back, which is always a good thing - though I think I disliked it back in the 90s.

There it is, 6 runs from the Brownsville Turnaround to Alone again with the dawn coming up. Somewhere into the second play through, I could say this is one I want to listen to in my death bed. I love the 808 state- pacific 707 melody that leaks in at 2:00 on "The Lights of Baton Rouge Pass by".

This is my first time ever hearing/reading about this band and album, but I think I can honestly say it has one of my favorite album covers of all time. I gotta listen to this.
