seriously though, nice review and what a great album. julie paradise is one of my favorite songs pretty much ever. dollar bill is very cool
i think its unfortunate albums like this get labeled (still, even) "grunge" because it cones from a certain era. i think it leaves the album somewhat in the past. when i got into this album it was because it wasn't really grunge. it was clearly a mainstream rock album to my ears. not to be confused with a slick commercial rock album, of course. but this is fairly timeless stuff.
i also liked the trees next album, and think its underrated. but this was one for the near, and perhaps far, ages
