Somewhere between 2 and 2.5. There are snippets of enjoyment scattered sporadically throughout but as a whole album this is pretty poor.

They got the chunkiness of the guitars right in the production, especially because there are so many breakdowns. Saves it from being complete garbage.

Vocals are pretty amazing though. Not only does the singer looking like Davey Havok but the cleans even sound like him at times.

The lead vocalist has a pretty good range with his screams. Don't like the cleans one bit though.

It's actually pretty good- much better more thought out than their previous stuff, though it was catchy as hell.

These guys are surprisingly fantastic live- they were the opening band and blew everyone else out of the water.

Haha I'd never waste my money on those shit bands. I don't remember everyone who played, but In Fear and Faith was there- it was a cheap show, so I didn't expect amazing music.

um, reviewer person? No. just No. you fail. absolutely fail. clearly you don't follow this band, because when "When love met destruction" came out, i listened to it non-stop for probably a month or two. there are countless differences between that album and this album. you're whole paragraph here:

"Indeed, Motionless In White do virtually nothing new. Subsiding creative substance, they rather partake in regurgitated approximations that have been done to death, overtly indulging in the cancerous chug-chug breakdowns, contrasting harsh vocals with high-registered cleans, coating their musical compositions with synth work, etcetera. Peculiar as it may seem, these exponential cliches which the band flourish in (promenading about as their sounds infrastructure) are hit and miss. This itself is ‘peculiar’ for the fact that it actually manages to ‘hit’."

is completely wrong. there's a meaning in everything, any band writes; not just to put "harsh vocals" in there. O-e... honestly? this is a horrible review. of course it "manages to hit", people like good music.

There's like no keyboards on this, which I would usually be sad about, but considering that their keyboardist did shit it's not too much of a loss here.
