The thing is, what you're imagining is spot on. But the songs aren't bad, they're just a bit dry. I didn't mention specifics outside of 'On Fire' because the Variation isn't there. Ultimately, I'm here to say whether or not an album is worth your time. I feel I did that, but you're more than welcome to disagree. Because you're being civil about it, I'm more than happy to tall about it.

the album lacks zazz

Listened some songs from Aeon and it seems ok for what it is (cheesy death metal band). This band has some of the worst lyrics ever though, even deicide is poetry compared to this :P

Their lyrics have always been cheesy and overly satanic, but the lyrics on Bleeding The False had a hilarious quality to them. That coupled with the fact that Bleeding The False was way more brutal than Rise To Dominate and this one separates it from them. The new songs off the upcoming album sound similar to Path Of Fire. I do enjoy them but overall the album will probably end up being another 3.
