At times he sounds like a tortured warprisoner, and at others, he reminds me of a screaming general who has either smoked way too much, or has had a bullet fly through his throat at some time in the past.

Haha. Brilliant. Great review Magnus, but I'll probably never hear this. Pos'd.

Thanks Gyro and yeah, I doubt this would be something you would find enjoyment in.

I fully agree with the review. I was a bit disappointed. ...Of Frost and War had something extra compared to this one.

This is an average album. Nothing here stands out.

One of the most boring dm bands to ever get big... I just don't get it, these guys like, really suck.

Good review, but I disagree completely. Hail Of Bullets sound so familiar but when you actually try to find out who they sound like, you end up getting nothing out of it. They have elements of Bolt Thrower and tons of doom in there, but they're not very similar to any other bands. Their sound is awesome. ...Of Frost And War was one of my favourite oldschool death metal albums when it was first released, and this even beats it. A 4.0 for me. There is nothing I can fault here, although it doesn't reach the heights of some of the older death metal classics.

This album is better than I was expecting. Sometimes....to me anyway....death all kinda sounds the same....but this one held my attention. Pretty goody.

You sound like a fanboy who doesn't want to admit that this is an extremely boring, derivative hunk of shit.

I don't like doom metal but I like this album.

It's exactly how death metal should sound. A little bit of Dismember, some Bolt Thrower melodies here and there an overall doomy Asphyx feeling... Well it deserves a 4.

You want generic death metal without inspiration ? Try "Into the Crypts of Blasphemy" from Interment : this truly is an uninspired death metal album (and trust me, I've liked the split with Funebrarum though). But "On Divine Wind" is clearly an excellent old-school death metal release.

I prefere to ear such death metal than the shitty fagdeathcore thing !
