Thanks everyone for the feedback. Over here in magazines, they have percentage ratings and a 65% is average if I am not mistaken.

ok, thanks. I expect I will love it. I love how Josh plays guitar. Does he make up the solos and little lead fills?

Do not go for the self-titled, easily their worst work. Go for Rated R, then Songs For The Deaf, then move on to the s/t and newest release. This Message Edited On 11.12.06

I know there are a lot of ppl who don't "get it" with this band. To me, these guys make real rock, paying homage and getting influences from a lot of the older acts (listen to "everybody's gonna be happy, a cover of the kinks), and their quirks and sillyness also contribute to it. I love it cause it can be so bluesy at times. Also, the subpar quality is done with the intention of creating the whole radio sound, which josh hommes was striving for in this album.
