Superunknown is flawless. Obviously the first ten tracks are great, but after that, Fresh Tendrils, 4th of July, and Like Suicide are all great.
As for this, I'll probably submit to the cash in.

I look at the cover and think... wolf sweater. It's hilarious and fucking TERRIFYING all at once

Don't get either edition. Screw cash-ins.
So yeah, band made two good albums.

I think their last three in particular were pretty great.

If it introduces some youngin's to Soundgarden then its a worthwhile exercise. Pointless for people who are already fans though.

I'll probably get it because I'm a sad completist, but tbh this doesn't have the greatest setlist.

Compilations shouldn't count for completionists.

Deluxe looks to have some good older songs but no Loud Love, come on. Besides a person who wants to be introduced should just get the A Sides.

If someone didn't know anything about Soundgarden, this would be a fine place to start. It's got some good live cuts, the new single, and some other versions of songs. Not to mention their work from the beginning and end of their discography.

Really good and succinct review. It helped loads in developing my understanding of the band and further directing my recent endeavors to get into Soundgarden.

Black Rain was always one of the few Soundgarden songs I really recognized, still love it
