"I agree. I think Greely is underrated, and the blaim of this is only due to Barlow's success." Mekkalayakay

Well still Barlow brought the band to success...his vocals were the best overall out of the vocalist they have had...dont you think? i personally cant stand Tim Owens or watever his name is
i cant stand it.he should leave!

Iced Earth is definately one of my favorite bands, and I fuckin love Glorious Burden too. The whole concept of the album is amazing and John Schaffer is a genious. But still, Travel is Stygian is my favorite song of all time.

My favorite IE album to date. Superb album. Greely is a great singer. Path I Choose, Desert Rain and Travel in Stygian are my favorite performances by him. Crazy riffs through out the album.

Awsome stuff !This Message Edited On 03.09.06

It's Jon Schaffer doing the aggressive vocals on Stormrider by the way. ;) Anyways, this is my favorite Iced Earth album. It's truely a work of a genious mind (Jon Schaffer).

About what I read above.. I don't think that a band will really make it if it's good enough.. I mean, you can't deny that Dream Theater for example is qualitatively amazing, but most people that don't listen to metal won't know the band.

Wrong my friend, although Burnt Offerings isn't far behind at all, this one wins by a bit imo.

Picked up this and "Something Wicked This Way Comes" today.

Im at Desert Rain right now...i can already tell this album is fantastic. Burnt Offerings is better because of the title track and Dante's Inferno, but this is pretty awesome so far as well, i like it more than Horrow Show.

I still need to listen to "Something Wicked..." though.
