Dead serious. There are only 4 great songs here, and the rest of them are painfully boring. DT has done much better things with their talents, and this album is far and away their most overrated.

Stanne's clean vocals are not really to my liking. It's not a bad album by any means, just not up to what DT is capable of doing. That was also a transition album for them from their older style to their newer one, so naturally there were missteps.

I respectfully disagree. It's a transitioning album, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean there's naturally going to be missteps. I'm honestly surprised that your rating is so low for Character though, I figured you'd love it.

Album does not compare to The Gallery. I haven't listened to this in a long time though, maybe I'll give it another shot. The New Build sounds cooler than I remember.
