Made in Japan will always be my favourite live album but this does come pretty close. As for the banning, I was fairly surprised considering I hardly contributed to the last 30 pages (the ones that were considerred spam) of the Diamond Head thread. But nevermind it's been reduced to 2 weeks now.

Yeah I heard what happened. You were at the wrong place at the wrong moment, that's clear. you really don't have the profile for deserving a ban. Wether it's for 2 weeks or not, that sucks nonetheless.

One of the best live albums ever.

Pos'd. This album features the best version of "Locomotive Breath", and that's quite a lot having account of the many live versions they recorded.
|
| |
Agreed. This album's version of Aqualung is amazing too. In fact every song on here is performed brilliantly.

Barriemore Barlow is such a brilliant drummer.

Oh yeah this is a terrific live album. I've loved Aqualung for a long time but somehow I never felt
the need to listen to Tull's other records (besides Thick as a Brick and a Passion Play). It's paying
off generously now that I'm in the mood for it.

Even though this one is more complete, I enjoy it as much as Nothing Is Easy.

@Nag: Great to see you exploring more of Tull's discog. All of their albums from their debut up to Stormwatch are well worth hearing.

I've heard everything up to Stormwatch during the past few days ;). Only War Child didn't do that much for me. Currently listening to A, which is fairly enjoyable.
|
| |
Awesome. Yeah War Child is probably the weakest, although it does have some great moments.
A is pretty good yeah, it's got nothing on 70's Tull though. Their best 80's album is Broadsword and the Beast imo, even if it does have one of their worst songs ('Watching Me Watching You').

Yeah, it doesn't touch their classic work obviously. Seems they really timed this live album
particularly well too, right at the last stage of their golden period. In my usual chronological
habit, I'll be arriving at Broadsword and the Beast shortly. Will probably go through their entire
discog eventually, hitting one of those binges again.

Just looked through your recent ratings, good to see that you've enjoyed most of them so far.
Heavy Horses is a real grower btw, or at least it was for me. It started out as 4 for me and now it's an easy 5 and one of my favourite albums of all time.

Will definitely be paying that a return visit, as well as most of those others.

Jamie knows. Welcome aboard the Tull wagon, Nag! And like Manosg said, their live Nothing is Easy is pretty enjoyable as well. Try Roots to Branches too.
