these guys are so weird. I talked to them for awhile once, in like a normal setting, and kevin was wearing 3d glasses the
entire time. I'm like, isn't everything already 3d? and he had some idiotic comeback that was like, "yeah, but now
it's 3d-er" or something they were real chill but that really pissed me off.

It is so depressing that it took me this long to discover this band (after listening to Paralytic Stalks). I've since purchased their entire discography and am not disappointed by a single second from any single album or EP. of Montreal is likely to become my favorite band ever and I think Kevin Barnes is the most beautiful human.

jon brion honestly did a pretty bad job on the production here. i dont even know what it is but i cant stand it sometimes. it's mostly fine if i listen with expensive headphones, but i dont always want to use those

kevin barnes is so far from a "hipster douchebag" that it's honestly funny you would call him that. it's clear you don't know the first thing about him. i've never met someone who is so full of love for everything

it's such a mind-bending and fascinating thing for me to think about, that every single sound that kevin barnes has created with an instrument has sounded so good to my brain. it makes no god damn sense how that works because no other musician has had any sort of success in that sense with me. i don't get it but it's so beautiful. it feels so extra terrestrial to be connected in such a way with someone's music and thoughts
