I just can't get into the vocals. Based on musicianship they're pretty good, but the vocals are just too monotonous for me. I might get more into Wonder What's Next, but it'll be a 3.5 for me at the most.

It's nowhere near a classic by any standard, more like their weakest album to date. Their debut is and will probably remain my favorite.

Time for the much anticipated Sowing's analysis of this review. It's no Chan's Plan's Bulldog review, but then again I'm no Chan:
THIS REVIEW IS GREAT. POS'D
Now that we have that obvious statement out of the way, there are a few things I would change, mostly a matter of preference. I hate paragraphs that start with "And", it just reads kind of clumsy IMO. Also, the last 2 sentences of the intro sound kind of weird to me (like maybe you are a little over anxious to defend giving it a 5), maybe it would sound better somewhere in the conclusion?
Overall, everything is extremely well written though. It has kind of a personal vibe to it at times, which I like (I know this is a very important album to you, and I did the same thing with my TDAG review). Some people might see that as a negative thing, but I don't because you also manage to critique and analyze the songs on a high level. To make a long story short, other than what I mentioned before, this is one of your better reviews. You should review more.
Review Grade: P is for Pos
Also, a side note for Ties: I upped Blackbird to a 4. I was listening to it on the ride back from the Poconos today and it blew me away like it never did in the past.

Thanks man. I'll look that over. I've been wanting to put a little more personal style into a few of my reviews so that I don't just put out the same formulaic reviews every time. I'm trying to get more reviews out, too.
Your side note pleases me. Check out AB's new song I posted in the news yesterday whenever you get the chance.

i will check out the new song, i didn't even realize there was one.
about the reviews though, i know what you mean. i feel like i am starting to churn out the same style review every time, i want to be more distinguishable from the run of the muck review. i also want to work on making my reviews shorter, more concise, and clearer. maybe i'll shake things up soon, who knows ;)

Yep, I gave this a 5.
I'll probably remember this ties more than the one who gave this a 4 but, eh, c'est la vie. I really need to listen to this again soon. I listened to "The Crow & the Butterfly" and the title track on the way to school today, and they were just as good as I remembered.
EDIT: I can't believe I never pos'd this until now...
