With Roots was more varied and less gimmicky than their previous work and it had some good melodic elements. Granted, all the songs have the same structure but that's to be expected. It's not some masterpiece or anything, but what I've heard of this stuff is ultra-repetitive minus the good melodic sensibilities, so for that I deem it poopy.

i see what you mean, but the singing felt really tacked on in most of the songs, as if they felt like they had to have a singing part because theyre metalcore. lots of bands have that problem.

neither with roots not plagues are that good.. plagues is better though imo just cause hranicas highs in with roots made me want to slit my cat's throat.

I enjoyed your review but I agree with loveisamixtape, you seeemed to biased and came off as a douchebag, not saying you are one tho. And the whole "Hey John, Reptar Can Grow Beards All Over The Ozone" thing, was probably the funniest thing ive ever seen on this site.

Okay, I removed the first two paragraphs. They didn't add anything necessary for the review, and if they made me sound like a biased douchebag right from the start then that defeats the purpose of reviewing the EP in the first place.

tbh it makes the review a lot more professional, but I kinda lose a little respect for not sticking to your guns. always stick to your opinion, even if the whole fucking site gives you shot for it. ie, my a7x reviews..

yeah, but he made some comment like "i had no idea this would be so well received. I'm gonna change it" or something.. And it just looks like he was changing it due to overall reaction from the site.
