Not a big fan at all. But how can it be too open-minded? That's what I was looking for, coming over from that dreadful site pitchfork.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not a big Opeth fan. I'm going to give them another try over the weekend, but they bore me a little at times.

That's okay. I really could care less about the approval rating. I write these because I like to write them, and hopefully in the process inform somebody else about the music.

That's the spirit man, approval rating means next to nothing, just do it because you enjoy it and to get your opinion out on some great music. It's pointless caring as there'll always be those certain few people who feel the need to neg good reviews for absolutely no reason.

Nice review, really good for a second. You mention how you think it sounds the most like "Air" off of the alchemy index, I'd disagree and say there is a definite "Earth" vibe kicking around the album, with maybe a few "Air" influences here and there. Anyway have a pos for your first proper Sputnik review, keep up the good work.

Great review, I'm looking forward to some more post hardcore album reviews!

Good review, I'm posing. I wouldn't say the Alchemy Index was such a jarring shift because Vheissu was really the album that threw everybody for a loop. I was nuts about this when it first came out but it grew off me a bit. This album still has a lot of my respect, though.
