The Northern is an amazing song. That and "Midnight Regulations" are my absolute favorites on the album.

"The Northern" actually feels like what they were going for on Crisis, and that's when I think they were at their best.

Whenever I think of Michael Bolton, I don't think of the singer. I think of Office Space.

Sweet review man, great for a first especially. I haven't heard this one, but I like Crisis and Watch Out! quite a bit

Thanks Inveigh. This is very different from Watch Out! or Crisis. It's a lot darker and has a lot more atmosphere, but I think they were thinking a bit too far forward and forgot that they just needed to make a solid record. I hope that makes sense.

Inveigh this is alot more polished than those two. He barely screams. Of course, as we know, that doesn't bother me one bit.

I always found his vocals grating on their previous works, but I also find this new vocal delivery a little annoying as well. Dallas sounds better than ever, though.

These guys are simply masters are crafting anthemic, hooky choruses. Thus why I love them.
