the reason it's not quite solidified for me is something i'll explain in the review, but essentially it boils down (and i know this sounds dumb) to the fact that it's not long enough. you'll see......

had it at a 4.5 for the longest time, but it never got old and I see no weaknesses on it personally, so i had to 5 it

at times it's a bit dull, but its minimalism is all part of the charm. just wish there wasn't such a separation between the more musique concrete tracks and the string based tracks.

He does mix them abit more on his new one, infra, so you may enjoy that one as well, though the highlights here beat it

mmm. i just noticed that aboretum works as sort of a prequel to the trees. maybe it's just me, but i find a pleasant similarity between the main melodies.
