Thats true, I can't remember most of it either except the bass rules. I think that's the appeal of the song.
But I think that goes for most of the album. The songs are like small stories you most likely will not remember, maybe except some key sections.

Despite it's an unfocused album, that suffers from a bad the band solved and improved in their later albums, it's, for sure, a must-have to any Opeth fan, and still worths a hearing and yields several good moments.

bass rules album rules opeth rules ridiculous pirate-esque dual harmonies rule melodies rule clean vocals rule song structures can sometimes get incohorent but still mostly rule night and the silent water rules to bid you farewell rules advent rules black rose has some great moments but is sometimes meh and doesn't completely rule nectar is alright but doesn't rule and gets really tiresome some people think this album is boring and those people dont rule and this review does NOT rule
