Damn straight man, short video, but it tells a lot. Thanx for this...You make me want to be more curious, and get more 'educated' classically, so yeah.

Learning some stuff about classical music never hurts, man! Bands like Yes and Jethro Tull really do incorporate it in their music a lot.

Yep, same for most of the 70's prog monsters. When I think 'classical music', I get lost!...there are too much schools. Like I said, I praise the challenging, adventurous, + complex arrangements, melodic stuff, all that jazz appeal a lot to me. Long time ago I frequented a café where we exclusively heard some classical..some GOOD classical for my taste...without never knowing who the hell was the composer ;(

Check out these two compositions, they're among my favorites (unfortunately, the second video is only an excerpt). Someday, I'll play that Scriabin etude, as soon as I get good enough.

FINALLY!!!..Man, I get chills, as I'm listening to the 2nd link: This is actually my absolute favorite piece of classical music, ever. (out of what I heard, of course)

The first one is one helluva piano performance, omg.

THANX for Tchaikovsky man, I finally know what is the title and who is the writer..!!!

That Concerto is definitely in my top 5 classical compositions. Here's my absolute favorite composition:

I played that one two years ago in front of about 350 people. If you recall, one of my earlier reviews was of that piece.

The first one is one helluva piano performance, omg.

Horowitz is awesome, without a doubt my favorite pianist.

Good choices Jamie. You're in for a flute festival; the Tull's more classical and the Camel's more jazzy oriented.

Win win win.
