When it came out I would have given it 5. But it has still aged admirably. The More Things Change really is not all that bad, and should not be dismissed. Take each album as its own entity.

Yeah, their riffs are just fucking HUGE. I always compare them to Pantera, but I think their riffs are bigger, with less emphasis on groove and more on thrash. That said, Pantera were better overall songwriters, Machine Head was more fierce.
