They can definitely do what they want with their music but they also have to suffer the consequences (good or bad) that those changes bring.
Personally I think Sound Of The Republic was the perfect balance. It still had some grittiness to the production, the hooks were used but it felt like they were really picking and choosing their spots for them and the album had that overall feeling of intensity that RF do so well

fair enough. I agree with most of those points, simply put though, I like this more than you do.

review looks better man, and it was very good to begin with. I think this might be my favorite of yours dude
|
| |
word, thanks dude
|
| |
and that's the word to BIG BIRD!
|
| |
Very good review man, album sounds interesting. I have a friend who is big into punk, I will have to ask him if he knows these guys. pos'd
|
| |
thanks dude, its worth checking out if you've never heard it.
|
| |
you think I'd like this dude? is it along the lines of Defeater, Dangers, Champion etc.?
|
| |
I think you would like it man, it's got some similarities to the bands you mentioned above, but I wouldn't say it's in the same vein.
RF is more like RATM on steroids if I could describe it.
|
| |
ah so it's more groovy?
|
| |
definately. This record is definately more accessible than previous records.
If you like faster hardcore punk I would check out Dedication. The song Illustration of Desperation is absolutely crushing. If you do check these guys out, listen to that song and you will know whether you'd like the other stuff these guys have put out.

righteous, thanks mang

np, let me know what you think, this band is criminally underrated and definately deserve some new fans.

Good review... Try writing something other than a 3.5 review ;)
