good review, I edited mine, as I clearly got carried away with fanboyism especially as the band gave a few of us promos to review it.. but its a good album, and I reckon they will get better.

go to their website, they have posted a really good fan Q & A.. good blokes

Rishloo compares to Tool and Deftones; TMF to more simple bands such as Staind, but are also in a completely different league.

TMF is basically a cross between Tool and The Doors

I hear no Tool influence with TMF whatsoever

@ DD

yeah, we exchanged a few msgs on myspace way back in the day. they seem to have maintained their humility and hunger which is cool to see

that's kind of a stretch for me. mostly because Morrison, let alone the Doors, is a very very hard sound to come close to

also, kinda too calm and soft to be compared to Tool

wow! this guy raps too? lol not bad actually

still liking what i hear though

I prefer Eidolon, but you got the recommended tracks completely wrong man. It should be

Scissorlips

River of Glass

Downhill

Feathergun In the Garden of the Sun

Weevil Bride

I don't know if you did this album justice. I prefer my reviews to be more detailed. Nonetheless this is a good attempt. Plus, the outfit is really promising. Have a pos.

fair enough. I don't think my musical jargon is good enough to be able to really go into detail, but that's definitely a goal of mine. thanks

Just don't get too much into detail next time around because it makes no sense when nobody is willing to read your lengthy review. I guess it's good to employ more descriptive approach focusing on a song structure, general atmosphere permeating from the album, musicianship, lyrics etc.

This has grown off me soooo much. Modern day prog rock is so, so shit. Dream theater, coheed and cambria, porcupine tree, karnivool, etc are all pretty bad.

Dream Theatre is pretty old actually. If they're "modern day," what came before them that was so good? besides early Genesis

Been listening to this for almost a year and it has not grown off me at all. If anything, it has grown on me even more.
