Haha yeah, Returning desperately needs a review. I considered writing one, but English isn't my native language so I'm never satisfied with any review I write haha. Maybe there's a bit of procrastination too actually

Returning Jesus is my fave from these guys, but it's one of the three I've heard. Def should review it. I really need to hear this one since I generally like music in the "sparse, stark ambience" area.
I know the tracks "Photographs In Black And White" and "Things I Want To Tell You" are really nice.

Yeah those two tracks are great, I love how unstructured "Things I Want To Tell You." It's like Steven was just fiddling with the guitar and Tim thought of having some vocals over it

My favorite song here is definitely Photographs in Black and White, but there's no weak track
@Omair I see you're digging the new Lunatic Soul, is it any good?

All the Blue Changes, Photographs in Black and White and Back When you Were Beautiful are my favorites on here.

@Jethro: Fine choices, for me the top 3 would probably be the same except I'd have the t/t instead of Blue changes

"All the Blue Changes" gives me a vibe very similar to "Inheritance" by Talk Talk, and that's a good thing.

True, both songs seem to have pretty much the same intention.

A lot of their stuff is very Talk Talk-inspired, especially Returning Jesus

I honestly heard this as like an 11 year old before I ever heard Talk Talk and listening it to it again wow it really is hugely inspired by them. No wonder I loved it then, Talk Talk grew to be one of my favourite bands

All the Blue Changes rules too, and the live version from the Wherever There Is Light EP is worth checking out. Really interesting how Wilson reused Drugged from his Bass Communion side project for the t/t, fit this one really well.
