Still embarrassingly haven't listened to a whole album by The Who but again great review

I demand that my opinions not be disregarded in such a simplistic manner!
Yeah, but no I've never really liked Who's Next I've always found the melodies and the stripped down instrumentals on Tommy more aesthetically pleasing.

haha I wasn't trying to be a dick. I feel like The Who didn't really develop their sound until Who's Next, and that's the reason Quadrophenia was so good. Each to their own obviously though.
Thanks Rom

yeah I know hence the italics and all that. I've actually never listened to Quadrophenia.

this and Quad, as well as 'The Who Sell Out' are a huge step up from 'Who's Next' imo.
I'm with Eno on the stripped down instrumentals and while the album has a shit ton of great Who tracks, I prefer the other 3 as albums.
but whatever, it's all good til post Quad.

that song rules
edit: Live at Leeds' version of 'Tattoo' is eargasmic. The whole album is fabulous, especially 'Deluxe Edition' wich includes Tommy live.

Tommy is the best Who album. Also''live'', they're so powerful.
'Live at Leeds'(Deluxe Edition) is the best thing the band ever did. Tommy is included...live.

Easily one of the worst albums in the history of music. (Sorry)
