It was a forgivable flaw though, as the combination proved successful for five consecutive albums.
You say that after saying that Push The Button was off putting
Escape Velocity" rolls around, toying with intense dynamics and ambience, also marking the first percussive appearance on the album. This sort of "chill-out" vibe is give off throughout the whole album
Find me any chill out in that track, I dare you
Low-end drones collide with fuzzy, club-friendly workings throughout the latter half of the album, without the character of Further's beginnings, but with a refreshing energy.
You say that after waxing on about the first two tracks...
I'm sure there were a few more but I think you went through and edited before posting

Off-putting as in something was off, not terrible, but a misfire.
Find me any chill out in that track, I dare you
The "valleys" in the hill-and-valley set-up is pretty chill-out.
You say that after waxing on about the first two tracks...
I still see no fault in that.

I just don't see how their 5th album could be considered a successful continuation (which it wasn't by the way), and then say that they faltered on it, and felt woozy
No, that's not chill out in the slightest, that's a build up
You say the later tracks contain a refreshing energy and imply that the earlier ones didn't. Which somewhat contradicts your earlier paragraph that involved those tracks

I never said it was a successful continuation, it was pathetically average.
No, that's pretty lulling, tbqh.
I say that the first two tracks are all about the vibe of the record, which isn't energy.
Misconstrued?

Yes you did:
as the combination proved successful for five consecutive albums
And just because something is lulling doesn't make it chillout

This sort of "chill-out" vibe is give off throughout the whole album, even if it hardly ever compares to the dizzying proportions of the first two tracks.
and give should be given
