Seriously tempted to 4 this, album might sound as a simple blues/hard rock affair, but it's so damn well executed. And Dio's voice is godly as always.

All Elf albums are solid but they were nothing really spectacular for their time, except for Dio's vocals which always were legendary.

Haven't listened to this since I wrote this review though lol

Oh and Gambler, Gambler sounds as a precursor to the progressive/epic tracks of later Rainbow. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the song that made Blackmore realize that this crew were the right people for the band he visioned.
