Not enough one armed drummers and songs about picking up chicks within a wekk.

i'm the only person who loved the EP. i'm pretty much a one man army even though i'm more appropriately likened to a 1,000,000 man army

There were a bunch of people around here at least heralding them as the next Beatles, our generations Led Zepplin, blah blah blah. At that point in time I thought it was rubbish.

Given this a listen yet?

I should like this more than I do.

Yes, yes you certainly should. It's a bit of a grower, give it time.

"they don't really have any energy when they perform, do they? what made them so great when I caught them was a combination of the crowd anticipation and the alcohol."

Yeah I felt like I was watching a group of teenagers play their very first gig out of a garage, wasn't impressed. If you've seen them, then does that mean your Australian?

Yeah dude. I caught them at Pyramid over the new year and again at Big Day Out during late January. They were pretty decent but they didn't sound nearly as great as they do on this record.

Where did you catch them? As you said, they're a fairly young band and I think they only just recenty toured overseas for the first time, which might have been a little overwhelming for them.

Yeah I caught them opening for The Living End/Gyroscope maybe last year?
