Good review...Just started listening to this one and I like it a lot so far. The songs fit really good together and the overall vibe is good.

I am just starting to get to know apologies to the ....Seems a bit harder beast to tackle.

This one has a more immediate appeal to me.



How is this band live?



I am seeing them in september at a festival. Modest Mouse is playing there too. Guess there is some kind of order in this universe...

Definitely feel the same way, but I do like this album. Its a hell of alot better than zoomer anyway. But of course it cant touch Apologies...

there's nothing here as good as the best songs on apologies but i do feel like overall it's more consistent

agree with liledman. there weren't really any stand out points on the album and there was a lack of dynamic variation. otherwise the tunes were pretty good as separate tracks..

Someone may have said this already but the album cover looks a hell of a lot like the Fang Island album cover.
