When I first got the album it was a straight up 0.5/5 then went to a 3.5 and now it's currently at 2.5 for me.

This Cocaine... is my favorite song because I love playing the bass to it. It's the only song that scores a 5/5 for me on this.

When Clumpy returns, I think the people in charge or what not should put him in the top 15.

This album is cheesy, poppy, irritating, and just downright annoying. Their visceral power is evident in System Of A Down. They evolved in their skill of incorporating beautiful melodies into hard music on Toxicity and Steal This Album. On Mezmerize, they display operatic wankery. Serj Tankian's run in B.Y.O.B., "la la la la. oOoOoOo" makes me want to leap headfirst into the wall. I give it a 1/5. It's funny how when I was listening to System Of A Down, people weren't paying them any attention. Now, stupid people who don't understand any of the background, history, or the musical sentiments of SOAD sing B.Y.O.B. in the hallways, with their Hollister Jeans. This Message Edited On 10.10.05

The same thing happened with Slipknot. There were some posers before Vol. 3, but when it was released there was an explosion. An explosion of Hot-Topic-shopping middle school girls who heared "Duality" on the radio and decided to go out and buy a Slipknot hoody. Metal being released into the mainstream spawns posers; people who wouldn't know the first thing about any of the bands follow the music just as the popular crowd follows Ciara and Maroon 5.

Well whether you like it or not, you can't deny that this album has some really good music in it. Besides, who cares what other people like? Just because it's popular doesn't always mean it's bad every time.

I like this album even though it's the worst of the 4 albums I've heard (Hypnotize being the one I haven't). I don't know if I'll end up getting Hypnotize cause the song I heard from it, I think it was Tentative, was horrible.

He's responding to mediocreatbest...

this album is great...nowhere near their first three but it still has its fair share of fantastic tracks. Old School Hollywood and This Cocaine are both good at first but get really boring after a while.

If you like System you'll like Hypnotize...Lonely Day is bad but i love tentative as well so i dnt understand the dislike there. Otherwise i think it's better even though they are very close.

Check out Viscinity of Obscenity, Soldier Side, and Hypnotize if you haven't heard them cause they are all great. This Message Edited On 04.07.08
