Bought this album when it came out, liked it a lot at the time. The off-key singing in it hurts my head now. This band has gotten worse since this album.

Problems fixed. The irony is that the (sic) wasn't originally there, it was a late add. Removed now.
Also, how was this album not clichéd at the time of release, if we already had Limp Bizkit, Methods of Mayhem and P.O.D. (at least!) doing the exact same shit?
And how is a 24 year old (25 in two months BTW) not an adult?

Also, how was this album not clichéd at the time of release, if we already had Limp Bizkit, Methods of Mayhem and P.O.D. (at least!) doing the exact same shit? Limp Bizkit was clearly much more hip hop orientated overall, Methods Of Mayhem were shit in every way, and P.O.D. mixed nu metal, rapping, reggae, radio rock and there was even a hint of hardcore on The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown, so all of your examples are pretty much worthless, sorry, as all Papa Roach did was mix some rapping into their brand of music - they were strictly a pure nu metal band at the time given, and had no other glaring outer influences like your other examples. I'm not saying they were overly original on this cd, as they clearly weren't, but to call this a cliche record when it was released in 2000 is being overly cynical.
