Sorry, Brick.
I still listen to half of the songs on here pretty frequently, I just can't listen to it as an album.

The Answer Lies within and I Walk Beside You really pull the album down, but besides those two the rest of the album is sheer awesomeness. Good review.

Yeah the title track is awesome and all, but it is a little overrated. And LaBrie's screams at the end are cringe worthy
Great review Ties, interested on your thoughts regarding Systematic Chaos

Dude the title track is way overrated and that's coming from a DT fanboy.

title track has its moments but the last half is a total wankfest. These Walls is the best song on here.

The Root of All Evil, Panic Attack, and Sacrificed Sons are three of their best songs imo.

Ugh. I went back to analyzing this, and now it's dropped to a 2 for me. Never Enough is simply the worst song DT has ever written...not one second is any good. Some of the bad Falling into Infinity songs at least have some good stuff in them...
I completely binned my old review for Octavarium (it was at 5 a while back) and summed up my new position. I still think the concept is very original - I'll give them that - and it definitely inspires me, but the way it is executed is just terrible.

That is probably the DT album that I have changed my mind on the most throughout this process of listening and reviewing their discography. I'll leave it at that for now.

After buying me a copy of this I must say I have a different opinion on this. Contrary to what some of you say, I think this is rather solid the whole way through (yes, TALW and Never Enough included D: ). Not to mention the concept of this album is brilliant.
