i actually like kanye west. he is one of the talented rappers that's making music, and getting recognized for it. if i ever get famous i would love to have a collaboration with him. i think that him and jurassic 5 are the only "talented" famous rap groups still making music. Andre 300 is the man no matter what you say

I'm considering reviewing The College Dropout sometime, though I don't really hold a high opinion of it.

Review it, from reading this review you seem to know a lot about Kayne. Even i you didn't like the album you can still review it.

Kanye brings the decent game and continues to be a self-sabotaging retard. He also manages to ruin my favorite Curtis Mayfield song. I mistakenly look forward to the next one for some reason.
Good review, though.

I've heard great things bout this album, from friends and forumers alike, and I might just pick it up from my cousin when i get the chance.

i find rap to be horrible for the sole fact that it is lacking creativity as every song is "goin' to the club with ma bitch, we be fly, etc. etc. etc."
NWA, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Tupac and a small margin more were the only creative outlets of rap really.
now its absolute trash and so is this...

Didn't you say in another review a while back that you didn't really like this, Zesty?
I'm kind of divided on this album. The singles pretty much suck, and the album is generally better. Sometimes I can't tell if I actually like the music or if I'm just impressed by it. I need more time.
I might've been referring to College Dropout (which I think is good but not great like most people say).
Listening to this album again, I'm considering lowering my rating a notch. It's good as far as mainstream rap goes, but the way in which Kanye recycles the innovative ideas of others as his own I find kinda irksome. This Message Edited On 11.30.05

I can't stand the 'Golddigger' track with Jamie Fox, but some of this isn't that bad. I like that 'Diamonds For Cierra Leone' song, too.
