great review, i just disagree with your rating. Dino doesn't owe anything to this album. Christian just ripped all of Dino's riffs off. As I said, though, great review, dude.

imo the only decent FF albums are Soul Of A New Machine, Demanufacture and the latest one

Yeah, the new release is as close as you can get to "returning to your roots." Burton hasn't sounded this good since Demanufacture, and you can tell the addition of Hoglan and the re-addition of Cazares sparked it.

I think it is, due to the fact that no one was doing what they were doing, musically and vocally. No one had thought about inserting clean vocals into the music until Burton did, and it was ace.
