Ah, a crossover review to help people have something to talk to their parents about... how cute.

I agree, and nice review. The album feels sparer than her last two albums, allowing her fabulous voice to come through and do the heavy work.

Thanks. I knew this wasn't going to appeal to a lot of the regulars on the site, but we apparently have a very large user base that doesn't actually post.

Awesome review, I wasn't aware that she was coming out with anything new. I'll certainly be checking this out.

What Cush said.

I'm a sucker for "In the Arms of an Angel," so I'll probably check this out. That song pulls at my heart strings every time I hear it.

Meh..... if fags get female pussy every night, then I guess I am. lol
No, that song just has so much personal meaning for me, I can't help it

Just giving you a hard time. I like that song, as well as Building a Mystery and Sweet Surrender.

I know.
When I was going through a lot of shit about 8 years ago, I got arrested and was sent to a counseling center in Miami. My counselor played that song for me and I immediately broke down. That song is so goddamn powerful

There's probably a lot of people that have some sort of connection to that song. It is probably one of the more powerful songs that I've ever heard. It just digs into you.

I admit that it's my favorite song of hers.
I want this album now!

Totally forgot about Building a Mystery, that song is just as ace.

I like this woman.

downloading now...hate to say it but I'm getting sick of metal. I need a break for a couple months.

This album is decent. Not really my cup of tea but a few songs are really good.

Hmm, I listened to a bit of this yesterday and aside from Awakenings nothing really hit me. Just needs more time to sink in.

I love this album. It's her best album since Surfacing IMO.

Hmm, I listened to a bit of this yesterday and aside from Awakenings nothing really hit me. Just needs more time to sink in. Yeah. The first few times that I listened it didn't do much for me either. It just didn't instantly grab me the way her last two did. I ended up starting at her debut and listening to her entire discography back-to-back at work, and when I got back to this one it just clicked.
I love this album. It's her best album since Surfacing IMO. So, it's better than Afterglow you mean?
