Yeah, but it takes the best of both and melds it together. Glassjaw never made a completely cohesive album, whereas this is that. Plus its catchy as fuck. But then again, it might not last the test of time so I'll see. Probably a bit premature to start flinging around statements like that.

This is pretty great so far, if just a little too sugary with its choruses. Are the vocals annoyingly low in the mix for anyone else?

I love the record, but I seriously doubt it has the legs or the influence that either GJ record has.

The vocals are a little low in the mix, I agree with tombits.

Okay, there is only one flaw I have with this record - and that's that a white guy says he's a nigger, lol.

^^ Pretty sure he's black actually. Really light skinned but he's African-American

The namedropping was only for comparison purposes, as this record is definitely a combination of a lot of their influences with their own spin on it. Still rules and is still in my top 10 of the year so far.

Yall niggers gown kill me but this vocalist sounds like the love child of Patrick Stump and Daryl Pumblo.

1. The singer is not black, even if he is 1/32 genetically or whatever.

2. The singer does NOT sound like Patrick Stump. At all. He's most comparable to Daryl Palumbo with some better chops.

Yeah, he has a very similar style to Palumbo which means he's not as inventive but he can actually hit the notes with alot more confidence.

Muther, Renegade 86' and The Sick, Sick 6.8 Billion are best
