i wouldnt say Obscura is a mess...but yes, this is much more straight forward and less weird. If you didnt enjoy Obscura...chances are you'll still enjoy this.

And someone summarised Obscura well for me (cant remember who it was), in a way that Gorguts made a good album but stuck it in a blender. I'm sure I'd enjoy it more if I give it more listens though
