I regestered for this forum just so i could make that post and tell you how RETARDED you are for even thinking about liking Sum 41 or any other punk or emo band.

i love that cd it's awsome i give it 9 out of 10

i always conisdered sum 41 as just another mainstream punk rock band, but my friend constantly listened to this cd, and got me hooked. i dont listen to it any more, like previously stated, but when i did, it was great. 4.5/5, just because i lost interest in it.

This CD is pretty average as most of Sum 41's CD's are. Personally I think the lyrics are nothing special they seem rather cliche and uncreative to me, not bad I guess just didn't really hit me. The guitar work on this album is something to give a nod to with some cool riffs. I like a few songs on this album(Still Waiting, Hell Song) but most of it sounds bland.

The Hell Song ... How You Remind Me (Nickleback)

There's another song that sounds like the main riff of Alive (POD). Hooch sounds like Boom (POD again).



Plus, all their songs follow the same formula, God this band is so incredibly shitty. Arghh my ears.

Sum 41 is brilliant.. They write 3-5 pop songs per album for the radio, and the rest are all just... good. So it was on this album. They're making alot of money, and releasing good music, so I like them, though they're VERY VERY repetitive. Most of their songs are pretty similar to one another, as good as they may be.

Oh, and Sum's lyrics are weak for the most part. Candy-pop style lyrics about more serious issues. Don't like the combination to be honest.

More solos in this album than All Killer No Filler, and is alot less pop-punk than AKNF. Sum 41's best album just because it shows they are really leaning toward one genre than in AKNF where they were all over the place.

good album. pretty weak review. this is sum41s first mature album. the music itself is a lot better, most noticably with Dave. Much more of the lyrics have more meaning than that of the songs on the first to albums.
