Album Rating: 2.5
I give it a 2.5 because some songs are genuinely breezy stuff perfect for summer rides.

Good review, pos'd
I honestly don't mind Johnson, his work on the Curious George soundtrack had some gems.

I once thought that Jack Johnson was an old folk musician and then I realized he was boring and overrated.

oh man i was hoping he would lift his game after sleep through the static.

awesome review, congrats on the feature-- and yeah, I remember I really used to like this guy before I really liked music. all my lax bro/bra friends still really dig his old stuff, though.

Review length is good. I like lengthy reviews, but you misspelled "sufficient."

Nice points Good review.
I will say I do like this album. Jack deserves more credit for being able to pull off such simple music during a time where every mainstream song is overproduced to the max or is filled with double base and shred your face off guitar from the progressive /core genres (which I love). In this album jack returns to a more beachy feel which was less present in sleep through the static. All together Its fun and his musicianship has grown a quite a bit from his three chord songs, which makes this one of his most enjoyable albums.
I would recommend :the upsetter, from the clouds, and only the ocean,
