Don't remember if I have ever told this story, but a few years ago a friend's uncle (who looked like present day Ian Gillan) went to a record store to buy a Beach Boys album. When he arrived at his home and played the CD, he realized that something was very wrong; he had bought a Beastie Boys album. Would have loved to see the look on his face.

My most underrated album.
Absolutely essential when it came out, still gets a listen and it genuinely has some of the greatest moments in recorded history.
Root Down into Sabotage is once in a lifetime stuff.

Sabotage is a 10/10 song, unreal.

Yeah that was one of the best things I watched last year.
As for the music it’s just absolutely timeless, it’s impossible not to nod the head to Sure Shot or Root Down. If it came out now it would still be the absolute bollocks, a world shaker.
The lads could demand attention, grab hold and attack like the punk bands of old. Quality.
