Isn't that true for all genres of music?

That's also a really good point.

ya
Surprised to see a review of these guys, as until I wrote one for "Perkonkalve" they had no reviews for any of their albums. But I guess that's also because they haven't been active for 7 years. I didn't see that. Seems our thoughts on the band are pretty similar though obviously you like them a little more.

Done by a 12 year old boy who plays too much Dungeons and Dragons.

To be honest, I was drawn in by the allure of two things. One, Folk Metal, and two, Latvia. Who can deny either?

meh... its okay, the instrumentals are good but completely uninspired, and the vocals here freaking suck, the cleans are alright i guess.... overall i'd pass

Best folk metal ever is Blackguard. The rest can suck it.

hmm I think you have to be a latvian to completely understand what they are singing about, not only the words. without lyrics the music is just sounds and it is funny how you guys are talking about how do you like sounds. music is much more than that. Skyforger are not trying to be the best folk metal band of trying to beat them all
