As much as I think Nickelback gets overhated for being maintream
They're not hated for being mainstream; they're hated because they write the same song over and over again, the lyrics are horrible, the instrumentation is very, very, average, and Chad Kroeger probably thinks he's the biggest rock vocalist walking on earth.

I agree with this guy. Nickelback hits the highest point of mediocre ever with this album. I can't say his voice ain't original, but used on the same notes all over again makes it boring as hell.

Just for the first song, this album deserved a 0. The 1.5 is because songs like If Today is Your Last Today that, if completely dived in bland and overdone, it's the best Nickelback has to offer this time around.

You are correct in your conclusion when you state, Nickelback strives to be a commercial band, however you're conclusion seems to imply mediocrity while the rest of your review along with your final rating speak disaster.
Also throughout the middle section of your review when you rant on the songs, you have a lot of filler, and not a lot of actual reasoning for a 1/5 rating. Saying things like 'this song just flat out sucks' takes a lot from your legitimacy. You constantly tell how the album is awful but infrequently actually state an objective reason. (if you can objectively rate music)
I've never actually listened to this album apart from a few songs on the radio, but i think if you want to give an album such an abject rating you need to have some better reasons.
