I saw them on I think Kimmel and the bassist destroyed his bass in the end and as a bassist myself, I as any other musician should be, was disgusted by that. I would never treat an instrument like that. :angry: :angry:

Kripes, three of them are straight edge, the drummer I believe is the only one that's not. Also, if he feels like smashing his bass, let 'im. It's a hunk of wood, dude, not a sacred artifact. I play bass btw.



Anyway, I really enjoyed this album, especially 'Xo' at the end. I think it's usless to pigeon-hole bands by genre labelling them- it's music. If you listen to it and like it, good for you. If you hate it cause "it's not true emo" or some other illogical reason, you are not a real music fan.

I agree, they were horrible on conan.

^^^which means they use all kinds of effects on recording to make him sound better which means he really cant sing live at all.

Jimmy Eat Worlds sound setup is horrible, they sucked on Leno and Letterman and my friend who saw them open for Green Day said the sound setup was bad again. A lot of band I like always sound bad on the tonight shows. :upset:

Not when I saw him live. He hit every song perfectly and he played for about 2 and a half hours. If I ever saw an example of him being weak live, I'd agree with that.

While He did have a tendencie to drag songs out for about 10 minutes longer than they actually are, his music quality never died like at an MCR concert, and He had personality on stage. Ive seen other bands, like Simple Plan and GC (On MTV, i didnt waste my money to see these losers live) and they're about as fun as sticks.

Their lyrics are pathetic, all about girls. whin whin. Guitar wise they are average pop punk.

I never said they are all about girls and are whiney. I find that to be a overall theme, main or major theme, of this and most pop punk.
