Well I liked it a lot, as usual. But then again the flamboyance and bombast is what I listen for. I think it was an improvement upon the sound of The Dark Secret, but fell short of Power Of The Dragonflame and Triumph Or Agony so I'm conflicted. I guess I kind of expected the greatest power metal album ever and didn't get it.
Good album but a bit disappointing.

The best thing about this album was the shredddz. The songwriting has been better but never the off-the-hook Italian-flavored neoclassical wankery. This even tops POTD for that.
